Convenient Implant Process

Our practice offers CEREC one-visit dentistry. This means in just one visit, we can create your implant crowns in-house while you wait, and you can go home on the same day with a beautiful new smile.

Don’t Settle for Less

We only use either Nobel Biocare, Ankylos or Straumann implant systems —  the world leaders in this industry. No cheaper copycat systems used here to bring down the cost of treatment. These systems are prone to failure, so we can’t in good conscience endorse or supply them.

Your Dental Implant Options?

Single Tooth Replacement

A single dental implant can be used to replace a single missing tooth, this can save the adjacent teeth and help stabilise bone loss.

Multiple Tooth Replacement

If we need to replace multiple missing teeth you won’t necessarily need an implant each tooth as we can create a dental implant bridge. This is often the most cost-effective way to replace multiple missing teeth.

Full Mouth Tooth Replacement

If you have all of your missing teeth then we can either create a fixed bridge or denture. We can even stabilise existing loose wobbly dentures with dental implants.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
about Dental Implants

Yes — patients can have one tooth or a number of teeth replaced with dental implants.

Implants are extremely long-lasting, but in order to ensure their longevity, you will have to treat them and look after them well. We recommend you schedule regular visits to Pembroke Dental Ballsbridge, but as long as you brush and floss your teeth regularly, you can expect your dental implants to last for up to 25 years.

This can vary from patient to patient, but your local dentist will give you a rough idea when treatment beings. You should know that teeth are usually fitted a few months after the implants are put in to give the implant time to mould to your bone.

Dental implants are usually done using a simple anaesthetic, and placing a dental implant is often easier than extracting a tooth. At the time the implant is inserted, you won’t feel any pain. However, when the anaesthetic wears off, you might feel some discomfort for up to a week post-surgery. Any discomfort can be managed with over-the-counter pain relief such as paracetamol.

One of our missions is to always be the very best at everything we do, using the best materials, best techniques by the best surgoens. For this reason we have our own specialist periodontist to place our dental implants. An initial consultation is €150. treatment with dental implants then starts from €1350.
